🌷 WonderLAND – Adventures in CLE: April 2026
Blooms, Brunch & Backyard Vibes
🌼 April 2026 Highlights
🗓️ Events & Experiences
Easter Fun in the CLE
Look out for egg hunts across the city, including Bunny Bonanza at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and the annual spring fling at Lake Metroparks Farmpark. Photo ops, crafts, and sticky fingers are guaranteed.
"MJ The Musical" – Playhouse Square
Dates: April 7–26
This high-energy musical brings the King of Pop’s iconic moves and music to the Connor Palace. Bring your dancing shoes (figuratively—unless you’re that person).
Earth Day Celebrations – Wade Oval & Beyond
Family-friendly eco-fests pop up all over the city in mid-to-late April, featuring crafts, vendors, live music, and kids’ activities. Great excuse to get outside and “accidentally” adopt a houseplant.
Orchids Forever at the Cleveland Botanical Garden
Spring blooms linger through April inside this tropical oasis. Think warm air, vibrant color, and total zen. (Also, it's basically an Instagram backdrop waiting to happen.)
Spring Flea & Makers Markets
Markets start blooming like tulips. Check out the Van Aken District and Gordon Square for local goods, handmade finds, and food trucks with churros the size of your face.
🌿 2. Outdoor Adventures
Cherry Blossom Walks – University Circle & Wade Lagoon
Late April brings the dreamy pink blooms. They don't last long, so snag the photo while the petals fly. Bonus: Kids think it’s magic, and you didn’t even have to drive to D.C.
Hiking Cleveland Metroparks
The trails are muddy, the air is fresh, and your kids will find a stick they insist on bringing home. It’s tradition.
Brewery Patios Open for the Season
Terrestrial Brewing, Great Lakes Brewing Company, and Collision Bend Brewing start pouring under the sun. Patio drinks hit different after winter hibernation.
🍽️ 3. Where to Eat This Month
Lucky’s Café (Tremont)
Famous for its massive cheddar scallion biscuits and a brunch menu that slaps. This one stays busy—go early or go hungry.
Collision Bend Brewing (Flats East Bank)
Riverside views, beer flights, and smoked wings make this the perfect post-walk pit stop. Bonus: Kid-friendly and stroller approved.
17 River Grille (Chagrin Falls)
Ideal for brunch with a view of the falls. The lemon ricotta pancakes are what brunch dreams are made of.
Felice Urban Café (Larchmere)
Nestled in a historic house with a killer spring menu. It feels like eating in your artsy aunt’s garden. A vibe.
Juneberry Table (Ohio City)
Southern comfort food with style—try the fried chicken biscuit and thank yourself later.
✨ Mandy’s Must-Do Tip:
Skip the basic brunch crowd and snag an early seat at Lucky’s Café. Trust me, those cheddar scallion biscuits are worth waking up for — plus, you’ll actually get a table before the whole city floods in. Bonus points if you pair it with a mimosa and plan a stroll through University Circle’s cherry blossoms right after. Because nothing says spring like carbs and flowers, and you deserve both.
